Complimentary Use of Life VestsWeak swimmers, non-swimmers and those under 42 inches tall are recommended to wear a life vest. Only U.S. Coast Guard approved Type II and Type III life vests are permitted in SPAR Waterpark. Puddle Jumper type life jackets are permitted so long as the inner labeling indicates that the device is US Coast Guard approved, and may substitute for a Type III PFD.
A limited number of complimentary use life vests are provided throughout SPAR Waterparks and are U.S. Coast Guard approved. It is advised that you bring your own if possible.
Inflatable floats, rings, noodles, balls, water guns, etc. are not permitted at SPAR Water Park.
Once done using life vest, please return to rack near lockers prior to leaving park.
Life vests are expected to be kept clean while in use. It is the parent's responsibility that the child does not damage the vest in any way.

First Aid If you begin to feel ill or find that you require medical assistance, please do not hesitate to request aid. SPAR Waterpark's First Aid Station is located at the Lifeguard Station near Lazy River entrance, by the Blue Dragon Body Slide, Green Monster Tube Slide, and the Twisted Serpent Body Slide. This area is staffed by certified lifeguards trained in First Aid & CPR.

AED (Automated External Defibrillators)AED's are medical devices that can help save lives in the event of cardiac arrest. They function by sending an electric curent to the heart to help it reset itself from an ineffective rhythm.
AEDs can be used by SPAR staff in response to a cardiac emergency. SPAR Waterpark staff are trained to properly use AEDs.
AEDs may be found in the following locations: Aquatic Office, Membership desk in Recreation & Aquatic Center, Fitness (weight) room inside of fitness center.
In the event of a cardiac emergency, notify a SPAR employee immediately and call 9-1-1.

Lost and FoundPlease do not bring items of value into SPAR Waterpark. Found items are turned in at the front office of the Waterpark. If not claimed within 2 weeks, items are discarded. Lockers are available to be rented to secure your belongings.

Service AnimalsNo animals are allowed at SPAR facilities, with the exception of service animals. Service animals are defined as dogs that are individually trained to do work or perform tasks for people with disabilities by title 11 & 111 of the American with Disabilities Act and Louisiana state law. "Companion" or "comfort" animals are not recognized as legal service animals.
To help assist you with your visit, we may ask what task your service animal performs for you.
Guests who use service animals must retain control of their animals at all times and should keep them on a leash or harness while visiting. To participate in a ride or activity, their service animal may be left with a nonrider or non-participant.
Service animals are the responsibility of the owner and cannot be left unattended at any time. SPAR employees are not permitted to supervise, transport, or take custody of service animals at any time.
Service animal behavior, including waste cleanup, is the responsibility of the owner. For your convenience, service animal "Relief Areas" for permitted service animals are located in the open outdoor areas of SPAR facilities, away from playing fields, for guests to use.
